Repairs for Apple iPhone 6S & 6S Plus Phones
Ever since the Apple iPhone 6S and its larger sibling, the Apple iPhone 6S succeeded the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus towards the end of 2015, people have been coming to our St Andrews store asking us if we can replace the new models. Short answer- yes we can!
It often takes time for the necessary parts to make their way down the supply chain to independent repair stores, but we have reliable contacts in the business. Our experience meant we were able to quickly learn the skills required for the new models, and we were comfortably underway within a relatively short period of time.
It doesn’t matter whether you have the iPhone 6S with its smaller display (4.7 inches) or the larger 6S Plus (5.5. inches); we can source and fit LCD displays for both for customers to our St Andrews store!
We offer the following repairs for the Apple iPhone 6S and Apple iPhone 6S Plus.
- LCD Screen Repair and Screen Replacement – Whether it’s cracked or has suffered other damage, screens can generally be replaced by us for both models.
- Water Damage / Liquid Damage – As with most phones and tablets, we can often fix liquid damage to the iPhone 6S and Plus, but please note that the chances of success are better the sooner you bring it to us. (See this article on liquid corrosion if you’re interested in why this is the case!)
- Home Button – This can be easily replaced if necessary.
- Lightning Dock and Audio Jack Connector Repair – Note that charging problems can sometimes be down to problems with the Lightning connector.
- Battery Replacement – Reduced charge capacity and other charging issues can also be caused by a damaged or worn out battery. We can replace even sealed (“non-replaceable”) lithium ion cells!
