Incredible Value USB Pen Drives

They go by various names including USB pen drives, flash drives, thumb drives, USB sticks- and so on^*– but whatever you call them, they’re incredibly useful, letting you carry large amounts of data in your pocket.

At Disc Depot’s St Andrews store, we’re always updating our selection to include the latest models of USB pen drive. That means ever-growing capacities, and at the time of writing (mid-2017) we stock 8 GB, 16 GB, 32 GB and even 64 GB models. Better still, these are all now USB 3 compatible, which means faster performance when used with a USB 3 (“SuperSpeed”) interface. (They’re still entirely compatible with older USB 2.0 and USB 1.1 interfaces.)

^* Although some people informally call USB pen drives “memory sticks”, they shouldn’t be confused with Sony’s entirely unrelated “Memory Stick” format, nor with DIMM RAM modules (which are also sometimes called memory sticks).
